Ubisoft has officially confirmed the global release date for Rainbow Six Mobile, ending a long period of regional testing and limited launches. The tactical shooter will be available worldwide on iOS and Android, bringing the core gameplay style of Rainbow Six Siege to mobile players after several years of development and refinement.
The mobile version focuses on the same strategic, team-based experience that defines the franchise. Matches revolve around five-versus-five combat where planning, operator abilities, and map knowledge matter more than fast reflexes alone. Ubisoft has adapted the pacing and controls specifically for mobile devices, aiming to preserve tactical depth while keeping matches accessible for shorter play sessions.
At launch, Rainbow Six Mobile will include a selection of well-known maps redesigned for smartphones, alongside two brand-new maps created exclusively for the mobile version. These new environments are built with tighter layouts and faster rotations in mind, offering fresh tactical scenarios while fitting the limitations of smaller screens. The familiar maps have also been adjusted to ensure balanced gameplay without overwhelming mobile hardware.
The game launches with a roster of popular operators, each retaining their signature gadgets and roles. Players can choose between ranked matches, casual play, and private matches, while built-in tutorials help new players understand the fundamentals of attacking, defending, and team coordination. Ubisoft has also confirmed ongoing post-launch support, with plans to introduce new operators, maps, and seasonal content over time.
With a confirmed worldwide release, Rainbow Six Mobile marks Ubisoft’s most ambitious step yet into competitive mobile shooters. The company is positioning the game as a long-term platform rather than a short-lived spin-off, targeting both existing Rainbow Six fans and players looking for a more tactical alternative to traditional mobile shooters.
