The OnePlus 15 looks set to arrive in China next month, and the teasers are already giving fans plenty to talk about. A new promo image shows the date “October 27” on the phone’s display, strongly suggesting that could be the official launch day. That timing makes sense, as OnePlus usually drops its flagships in late October, with last year’s OnePlus 13 launching on October 31. Pre-orders have even gone live in China, another sign that the release is right around the corner.
What really makes the OnePlus 15 stand out is its build. OnePlus is boasting about a new aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal body that’s said to be way tougher than other premium materials. According to the company, it’s more than twice as hard as titanium and stainless steel, and over three times tougher than anodized aluminum. That’s a bold claim, but if true, it would easily make the OnePlus 15 one of the most durable flagships on the market.
Design-wise, the phone will debut in a new “Sand Dune” finish, and OnePlus is even keeping things old school by including both a charger and a case in the box — something most brands no longer do. It’s also expected to come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a large battery with super-fast charging, and upgraded cameras, making it a serious contender against rivals like Xiaomi’s 17 series and Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup.
For now, the official global release date hasn’t been confirmed, but if history repeats itself, we’ll likely see the OnePlus 15 roll out worldwide early next year, just ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series. On paper, this phone has everything it needs to give the competition a real headache.
