Google is set to officially unveil its latest earbuds, the Pixel Buds 2a, alongside the Pixel 10 series and Pixel Watch 4 on August 20th (29 مرداد). New leaked details reveal what users can expect from this affordable yet capable wireless earbud option.
According to a recent brochure shared by renowned leakster Evan Blass, the Pixel Buds 2a will offer up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge, and a total of 20 hours when used with the charging case. These earbuds will support spatial (3D) audio, although they will lack head movement tracking—a feature available in some premium models.
Unlike the Pixel Buds Pro 2, the 2a’s charging case will not support wireless charging, but the earbuds themselves are equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC). However, the ANC system in the Pixel Buds 2a won’t include the more advanced Silent Seal 2.0 technology found in the Pro version, meaning noise cancellation performance is expected to be somewhat weaker.
Pixel Buds 2a is designed to be a budget-friendly successor to the Pixel Buds A-series from 2021, offering fewer premium features than the Pro 2 but maintaining a strong value proposition. The earbuds will be available in two simple yet attractive colors, catering to a wide range of users who prefer style and comfort.
Pricing details for the Pixel Buds 2a haven’t been announced yet, but the new model is expected to be more affordable than the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
With this launch, Google continues to expand its Pixel ecosystem, providing consumers with a variety of choices to suit different needs and budgets.
