Despite facing a lawsuit from Apple over alleged unauthorized access to a developmental iPhone and leaked iOS 26 designs, tech leaker Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech is showing no signs of backing down. In his latest video, Prosser unveiled what he claims are “near-final” renders of the iPhone 17 Pro, even as Apple’s legal battle against him unfolds.
The renders reveal significant design changes, including a side-to-side camera bar for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, which Prosser believes will house an upgraded periscope lens capable of exceeding the current 120mm focal length for enhanced optical zoom. He also claims these models will feature a 48MP Telephoto camera, a notable jump from the 12MP sensors found in the iPhone 16 Pro series.
Other details shared include a slightly thicker body at 8.73mm compared to the iPhone 16 Pro’s 8.25mm, a new potential orange color option, and a repositioned Apple logo. Prosser also echoed rumors of a 5000mAh battery for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, marking the largest battery ever in an iPhone.
The video, laced with tongue-in-cheek jabs at Apple and rival leaker Mark Gurman, underscores Prosser’s unshaken confidence. This isn’t the first time his predictions have stirred controversy—his past render of a flat-edged Apple Watch Series 7 turned out to be inaccurate—but Prosser continues to be a polarizing figure in the tech community. Whether his latest leak proves correct remains to be seen, but his defiance against Apple’s legal pressure is unmistakable.
