Lotus has officially confirmed pricing and updates for the 2026 Emira, following its announcement in June. In a notable change for the U.S. market, the V6 SE now sits at the top of the Emira lineup, while the Emira Turbo becomes the new entry-level model. Buyers can expect a more refined experience overall, but also a noticeable increase in cost.
The Emira Turbo starts at $106,900 and comes equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG, delivering 360 horsepower. That’s a modest jump from the $102,250 base price of the 2025 model. Meanwhile, the V6 SE variant—powered by a 3.5-liter supercharged engine—will start at $112,900. Despite offering the same 400 horsepower as before, Lotus has fine-tuned the suspension and improved wheel alignment to enhance both handling and ride quality.
Regardless of which powertrain customers choose, all 2026 Emiras benefit from a redesigned cooling system. This upgrade improves airflow to the radiator and transmission cooler while also helping to shed weight. Additionally, the dual-clutch eight-speed transmission has been refined for smoother shifts.
Aesthetic changes are also part of the package. Two new exterior colors—Eos Green and Purple Haze Metallic—have been added, though they’ll cost an additional $2,950. Tangerine Orange remains available as a premium color option for $7,800. For those seeking a more exclusive look, the Racing Line edition—starting at $115,900—offers unique badging, 20-inch wheels, and a hand-painted pinstripe along the lower body.
Although Lotus has not officially confirmed all pricing details, information sourced from enthusiast forums and reports suggests these numbers are accurate. Motor1 has reached out to the automaker for confirmation. In the meantime, preorders for the updated Emira are already underway.
