Huawei has officially launched the Mate XT, marking a significant milestone in mobile technology as the world’s first tri-fold smartphone becomes available globally. Initially introduced in China in September 2024, the Mate XT features a unique dual-hinge design that allows the device to transform from a standard 6.4-inch phone into a 10.2-inch tablet-sized display when fully unfolded. This innovative form factor offers users three distinct screen configurations, enhancing multitasking and media consumption experiences.
The Mate XT is powered by Huawei’s HarmonyOS and is expected to utilize the Kirin 9010 processor, delivering robust performance and AI capabilities.
