New leaks suggest that Oppo is preparing a major surprise for mobile photography fans in 2026, as the upcoming Find X9s series may receive a dramatic camera upgrade far beyond earlier expectations. While previous rumors pointed to a 50 MP telephoto camera for the compact Find X9s and Find X9s Plus, fresh reports now claim Oppo is planning a dedicated 200 MP zoom camera instead, signaling a bold shift in its imaging strategy.
According to the latest information, the Oppo Find X9s is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution, similar to what we’ve seen on recent flagship rivals. Beneath the screen, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is rumored to provide faster and more secure unlocking. Powering the device could be a massive battery with a capacity of at least 7,000 mAh, paired with Oppo’s trademark ultra-fast wired charging to support intensive daily use.
Software is also set to be cutting-edge, with the Find X9s reportedly launching with Android 16 and ColorOS 16 out of the box. Durability appears to be another strong focus, as the phone is rumored to carry an IP68 or even IP69 rating, offering high resistance against dust and water. This combination of rugged design and high-end internals suggests Oppo is positioning the Find X9s as both a premium and practical flagship.
The camera system is where the Find X9s could truly stand out. Leaks indicate a dual 200 MP setup powered by Samsung’s HP5 sensor, with one sensor serving as the main camera and the other dedicated to a 3x periscope zoom lens. If accurate, this would give Oppo one of the most pixel-dense camera configurations on the market. The ultra-wide camera is expected to remain at 50 MP, which would still place it comfortably within flagship standards.
While Oppo has not officially confirmed any of these details, rumors suggest the Find X9 Ultra, along with the Find X9s and Find X9s Plus, could debut around March 2026. Traditionally, Oppo’s top-tier models have been limited to China, but there is growing hope that this generation could see a wider global release. If these leaks prove accurate, the Find X9s series could become one of the most talked-about camera phones of 2026, even as experts caution that higher megapixel counts alone do not automatically guarantee better image quality.
