The 2027 Kia Telluride arrives as a bold evolution of one of Kia’s most celebrated SUVs. Since its debut in 2020, the Telluride has been a huge success for the brand, praised for its comfort, design, and family-friendly versatility. Now, for the 2027 model year, Kia takes everything that made the Telluride great and elevates it with a striking new look, a refined interior, and a more premium feel overall. The official reveal will happen at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, but early images and details already give a clear picture of Kia’s ambitions.
The exterior design has grown more assertive and muscular, featuring a taller and wider grille that extends seamlessly into the headlights. Depending on the trim, the grille design changes — the SXP trim has a gloss-black vertical pattern, while the XRT variant goes for a rugged mesh look. Sharp body lines across the front and rear fenders enhance its powerful stance, complemented by a floating roof element and new eight-spoke wheels. The X-Pro trim even includes bright orange tow hooks, emphasizing its adventurous side. Measuring 199.2 inches long, the 2027 Telluride is slightly larger than before, offering more passenger and cargo space.
Inside, the cabin transformation is just as impressive. A large dual-display setup stretches across the dashboard, likely larger than the previous 12.3-inch screens, and the materials have been significantly upgraded. Real wood and metal trim elements bring a more luxurious atmosphere, while the seats feature new two-tone leather and mesh headrests. New interior color choices such as Deep Navy, Blackberry, Tuscan Umber, and Sand Beige highlight the SUV’s sophisticated personality.
Under the hood, Kia hasn’t confirmed powertrain options yet, but since the Telluride shares its platform with the Hyundai Palisade, we can expect a similar mix of engines, possibly including a 3.5-liter V6 and a turbocharged 2.5-liter hybrid. Pricing will likely start just below $40,000, slightly above the current model, and full specifications will be announced at its official debut later this month.
