Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming flagship trio, the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. The devices will debut in China on Thursday, September 25, at 7 PM local time (11 AM UTC), marking one of the brand’s most anticipated unveilings of the year. Alongside the announcement, Xiaomi shared detailed specifications and teaser posters that highlight the key features of its latest premium smartphones.

The Xiaomi 17 will feature a 6.3-inch flat OLED display with a 19.6:9 aspect ratio and ultra-thin 1.18mm bezels, delivering a sleek design and immersive viewing experience. Both the standard and Pro versions will use M10 screen luminescence technology, which Xiaomi claims offers the highest luminous efficiency in the industry at 82.1 cd/A. The flagship 17 Pro Max introduces a new independently arranged RGB pixel stack, eliminating pixel pooling while reducing power consumption by 26% compared to traditional 2K displays.

On the battery front, Xiaomi revealed that the 17 Pro models will debut its new Jinshajiang battery technology. This L-shaped packaging solution uses 16% high-silicon content for higher energy density and supports blazing-fast 100W wired charging. The result is a thinner design without compromising battery life or performance.

Under the hood, all three devices are expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 3 out of the box. Together, these improvements in display efficiency, battery technology, and raw performance signal that the Xiaomi 17 series is set to raise the bar for next-generation Android flagships.
