Google has expanded its AI Mode feature globally, allowing users in 180 new countries to ask complex, multi-part questions and receive detailed answers directly within Google Search. Previously available only in the U.S., U.K., and India, this wider rollout is part of Google’s plan to bring AI-powered search capabilities to more regions and languages soon.
Alongside this expansion, Google introduced new agentic features that let users make restaurant reservations by specifying details such as party size, date, time, location, and cuisine preferences. The AI Mode then searches multiple reservation platforms to find available options in real time. This feature is currently available in an experimental phase for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S. through Google Labs.
Additionally, AI Mode now offers personalized search results based on user preferences and past interactions. For example, if someone searches for a quick lunch spot, the AI can suggest places aligned with their favorite cuisines or dining environments. Users can manage these personalization settings within their Google Account.
To foster collaboration, Google also added a “Share” button in AI Mode, allowing users to easily share AI-generated responses with others and work together on exploring topics.
