Life360 has launched a new feature called “No Show Alerts,” specifically designed to help families manage the chaos of daily routines, particularly during the back-to-school season. This free feature is an alternative to constant location tracking and was developed in response to user feedback.
Instead of notifying you when a family member arrives at a location, this feature works in reverse: it sends an alert only if they do not arrive at a pre-set destination by the specified time. This approach acts as a “silent safety net,” giving parents and caregivers peace of mind without the need to constantly check their phones or the app’s map.
The company’s own data shows that managing family logistics is a major stressor for parents, who report spending up to 10 hours a week on these tasks. “No Show Alerts” aims to reduce this stress by providing a simple, proactive tool to ensure loved ones are where they need to be, when they need to be there. This new feature joins the company’s existing suite of tools, including Crash Detection and Place Alerts, expanding its focus from reactive safety to proactive support.
