Tesla has officially opened its first Tesla Diner & Drive-In on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, California. The establishment combines a classic American diner experience with advanced Tesla technology, featuring 80 V4 Supercharger stalls and a drive-in movie theater. Guests can enjoy classic comfort foods such as burgers, hot dogs, wings, and hand-spun milkshakes, all delivered in Cybertruck-themed boxes. The diner also boasts two 45-foot LED movie screens, with audio synced to Tesla vehicles’ in-car sound systems. Additionally, Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, serves popcorn to visitors.
CEO Elon Musk has expressed plans to expand the diner concept to other major cities worldwide, contingent on the success of the Hollywood location. The diner officially opened at 4:20 p.m. on July 21, 2025, and has already attracted long lines of visitors eager to experience the innovative fusion of dining and electric vehicle charging.
