Google is preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone lineup, the Pixel 10 series, at its annual “Made by Google” event, scheduled for August 20, 2025, in New York City. The lineup is expected to include four models: the standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and a foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Alongside the phones, the company is also rumored to unveil the Pixel Watch 4 and new Pixel Buds.
Although the devices have not been officially released yet, multiple sources confirm that they will debut at the August event, with availability expected to begin shortly after. The Pixel 10 series represents a significant step forward in Google’s hardware ambitions, showcasing both design and performance upgrades.
The devices will be powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, which has reportedly moved production to TSMC and offers notable performance gains over its predecessor. The Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro will likely ship with Android 16 out of the box, integrating deeper AI features via Google’s Gemini AI platform, including tools like Pixel Sense.
Camera improvements are also in focus. For the first time, the base Pixel 10 may include a telephoto lens, while the Pro models continue with a triple-lens setup. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is rumored to offer a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with up to 3,000 nits of brightness, while the foldable model could reach up to 1TB of storage and push the price near €2,300.
Battery upgrades and higher RAM options are also expected, with the XL model packing a 5,200 mAh battery and some variants offering up to 16GB of RAM. Pricing is expected to start around €899 for the base model and climb significantly for the foldable and XL versions.
The Pixel 10 launch is shaping up to be one of Google’s biggest mobile hardware moments in recent years. With substantial internal upgrades and a full ecosystem refresh on the horizon, all eyes will be on August 20.
