Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup around September 9, 2025, with sales beginning later that month. The series will likely include iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air (a thinner replacement for the Plus), 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max.
All models may feature 120Hz LTPO ProMotion displays. The Dynamic Island interface is set to be redesigned, becoming smarter and more interactive, offering new ways to manage notifications and controls.
The Air model is rumored to be ultra-thin, possibly as slim as 5.5 mm.
Performance upgrades include the A19 chip and 8 GB RAM for standard models, while Pro versions are expected to get the A19 Pro and 12 GB RAM. The Pro Max may also introduce vapor chamber cooling.
Camera improvements are across the board: 24 MP front cameras, and up to 48 MP telephoto on Pro models. The Pro Max may feature triple 48 MP sensors (wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto).
Other expected features: Wi‑Fi 7, faster MagSafe charging, and a possible periscope lens for the Pro Max. Color options may include new tones like copper-orange and sky-blue.
Prices are estimated at $799 for iPhone 17, $899 for the Air, $1,099 for the Pro, and $1,199+ for the Pro Max.
