According to NASA, the partnership supports the U.S. National Aerospace Policy, which encourages open and broad public access to the country’s space operations. NASA’s content will also continue to be available through its dedicated NASA+ service, accessible via the NASA app and on platforms like Roku and Apple TV. This move is aimed at increasing public interest and connecting especially with younger generations.
For Netflix, this collaboration marks a step into live scientific programming, expanding beyond their previous live events such as comedy specials and sports. With NASA onboard, Netflix is positioning itself as a key player in streaming live science and space content.
