Google’s forthcoming base Pixel 10 is expected to feature primary and ultrawide cameras similar to those found in the recently released budget Pixel 9A, which reportedly do not match the camera quality of the Pixel 9, according to Android Authority. Notably, the new model may include a telephoto camera, a feature absent in the Pixel 9 and previous base Pixel models.
In contrast, the Pixel 10 Pro devices are anticipated to retain the same camera hardware as the Pixel 9 Pro, suggesting that Google could rely more on the capabilities of its upcoming Tensor G5 chip to enhance photo quality.
Additionally, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which is rumored to maintain a design closely resembling that of the previous iteration, is also expected to adopt the primary camera from the Pixel 9A.
Last year, Google launched its Pixel 9 lineup in August, and it is speculated that the company may choose a similar timeframe for the Pixel 10 series launch. The Pixel 9A is scheduled for release on April 10th.
